Praying plants
This time-lapse video showing how much plants move during the day has become viral on Twitter. The plants used in this video belong to the family Marantaceae, which are known to "pray"during nighttime. This is because of a small “joint” between the leaf and stem. Their leaves open to get as much sunlight as possible and will move to accommodate the changing positioning of the sun.
There are other plants as well which show similar movement.
