What are some good habits to follow?
This is a post by Sirisha Bhamidipati, upleveler at CTQ
Wake up on time - well before sunrise.
Spend time doing the most important task - first thing in the morning.
Prepare the night before for the next day - decide on what you want to cook, work on, read etc. try visualizing the next day.
Try completing tasks using a timer - Pomodoro technique works best for me
Restrict interference - Use your phone and social media only during designated time slots in the day.
Eat mindfully - when you are eating, only eat.
Read - there is no substitute for this. Reading broadens your perspective.
Maintain a journal- write every day - even if it is one or two sentences about how your day was
Express gratitude - explicitly thank people who make things easy for you, thank your body for supporting you in your endeavors.
Exercise - Only if you are healthy can you think straight and turn your dreams into reality.
Write down every idea - however small or trivial it seems.
Manage money well- Spend less than what you earn.
Have a reaction time - Don’t take any decisions in haste.
Meditate daily- It will help you stay focused.
Go to bed early every day - Helps you get sufficient rest and makes it easy to wake up the next morning.
Most of these are habits that I have been consciously working on while working as a consultant at Choose to thinq and it has added significant value to my life.
