What are good habits to build as a 25-year-old?

As a general principle, be biased towards good compoundable habits i.e actions that can be done in small drips each day and will compound over 10/20/50 years.

Such as:

  • Reading for 15 mins

  • Writing 100 words (and publishing occasionally)

  • A simple, repeatable exercise routine

  • Regularly keeping in touch with your family and your network

  • Reflection

  • Building your own audience (even if you have nothing to ‘sell’ to them today)

  • Financial savings/investments

  • A hobby that involves some of kind of activity and, if possible, produces something tangible.

Equally, it will help to NOT start bad habits (especially if, at age 25, you can now afford them).

(P.S. if you are not 25, I think you can start today as well)
